Atlas Law Fan Club

Before I became the Practice Manager here at Atlas Law, I had a pretty varied work history. From teaching Kindergarten to managing day-to-day Real Estate operations to waiting tables, I've acquired tons of transferable skills along the way. Another HUGE bonus: I've learned a lot about what is important in the professional world, and equally as much about what really isn't.

If you know me, you wouldn't be surprised to hear someone label me an "enthusiast." In fact, that's probably an understatement. I develop pretty strong feelings about most things in life; and when I find something that works well, I love to share that product or service with others. I'm never short on a recommendation for a new restaurant, a clothing brand, a live band, a Netflix show - you name it. And let me tell you, I am a die-hard fan of Atlas Law. I will shout from the rooftops all the things I love about our firm!

As a licensed real estate agent, I spent some time in production. I got to experience the good, the bad, and the ugly firsthand when it came to vendors in the Triad. If you're a realtor and you're reading this: you know exactly what I am taking about - that attorney that threw you under the bus at the closing table, that septic company that never showed up to your inspection, or that lender that didn't tell you they wouldn't be able to make your closing date until THE DAY BEFORE SETTLEMENT….ugh. Things like that can really make the real estate profession draining, but can also teach you pretty quickly to look out for indicators of a great vendor.

I was lucky enough to be referred to Joe Orenstein when first starting out my real estate career. From there, Joe and his staff walked me through my first few transactions (when I was a baby agent), never once losing patience with me. They helped me get creative with some tough transactions, explained new terminology to me, were always thorough and knowledgeable, and made me look like a rockstar in front of my clients. I knew I could ask a question, day or night, and I'd have an answer promptly. He became my attorney of choice pretty quickly - and when the stars aligned to allow me to join the staff, I knew I couldn't refuse the opportunity.

It's hard to believe that was a few years ago! As cheesy as it is - our staff feels like family - so most days it's hard to believe I ever worked without them! Since joining the team, I've been lucky enough to see all kinds of different perspectives of a real estate transaction - and I can honestly say this group has never once strayed from the founding principles I saw them display during my time as an agent. Their commitment to constant improvement, communication with stakeholders, and having fun is truly infectious. It makes my favorite part of the job (marketing our service!) THAT MUCH EASIER!

I honestly believe in the service we provide every day, and I know you will too.

Cheers!

Kelly
